Summary
My focus during my time with the state was the welfare of the states most vulnerable citizens the elderly. I worked closely with our surveyors and the nursing home industry and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services to assure our elderly received the quality care. My goal was to build relationships across the industry to assure that care was provided. I developed relationships with the state long term ombudsman along with the nursing home industry and consumer groups.
