- Collaborated with a team of doctors and nurses at the Portland VA Women's Health Clinic to develop a quality improvement project. We presented our QI project to the national director for women's health, the executive office representative, the medical director for the Portland Women's Clinic, and a multidisciplinary team, which led to creating a working group to analyze our data and increase mammography screenings within the Portland VA for female Veterans.

Mission statement: The Black Student Nurses Umoja (BSNU) of OHSU's mission is to provide a community for Black, and African American Diaspora identified students within the OHSU School of Nursing undergraduate and graduate programs.
