Daijah is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Duke University School of Medicine's Occupational Therapy Doctorate Division, where she is an OTD candidate. Daijah has always been passionate about working with children and hopes to use her advanced degree to pursue a career in Pediatric Occupational Therapy, but is open to other settings. She believes that by helping children develop the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives, she can make a positive impact on their families and communities. Before enrolling in the OTD program at Duke, Daijah completed her undergraduate degree at East Carolina University in 2023, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with a Concentration in Medicine. During her time at ECU, she gained valuable experience working with children and honed her skills in the field of occupational therapy.
