  • Led a team of thirty-four associates which included three Lead associates, divided into three different areas within the department. (Dock, VSRS/Supermarket and Zone 4 repack area).
  • Dock responsibilities include- ensuring all drivers have been properly checked in by the Shipping coordinator and all trailers have been docked as quickly as possible to be offloaded, then released.
  • Made sure the dock Infeed Team met the required 1k per day induct numbers.
  • VSRS/Supermarket responsibilities include- ensuring all material coming out from the VSRS is properly put away in its correct location,
  • Making sure the VSRS inventory numbers aren’t high due to material not being pulled from conveyors in a timely manner.
  • Kept material from being stored on the floor causing overflow and safety concerns.
  • Made sure the Outfeed Team met the required 1k per day put-away number.
  • Zone 4 Repack area responsibilities include- ensuring all drivers are delivering material to be put away in the supermarket as well as to the production line.
  • Made sure all material had been properly repacked by the re-packers in the correct bins/racks needed for each line side location.
  • Held bi-weekly 1-1's with each lead to get updates on their areas which also served as leadership development for a potential supervisory role.
  • Kept in constant communication with Planners and/or Suppliers.
  • Worked closely with QI with regards to any part defects that may effect the line.
  • Regularly attended safety meetings, completed 5S/safety walks throughout our areas to help identify any potential safety concerns.
