Leading project to define how DJJ Brokerage and Steel Making Group (SMG) maximize mill performance, arrive on the best outcomes for Nucor, and hold each other accountable. We are working toward 3 outcomes:

• For SMG to understand and participate in the raw materials strategy.
• For Brokerage to take more ownership of inventory responsibility.
• For Brokerage to present a clear picture of performance with data for our stakeholders.

Led rail equipment team, including 3 commercial managers, 3 mechanical engineers, and 2 administrative supervisors overseeing a railcar lease portfolio of 3000 railcars valued at approximately $75M.

Led team through integration into Nucor in 2021, pivoting from singular DJJ profit focus to consultative service strategy to serve Nucor's railcar logistics demands.

Led DJJ private rail fleet operations team to effectively manage a 2500 railcar fleet valued at $62M in assets for optimal efficiency and profitability. During this time our team:

• Increased average monthly turn times from a 10 year average of .8 to 1.10.
• Reduced average monthly maintenance cost from $160 per car, per month to $125 per car, per month by investing in new equipment and expiring older equipment.
• Successfully invested $50M in new railcar equipment to serve Nucor SMG built with Nucor steel.
• Introduced a new teammate position to serve as a training and development position. All 3 of those teammates have progressed their careers into Nucor Logistics.

Led Pittsburgh Brokerage office responsible for securing raw materials for Nucor Auburn directly and Nucor SMG with approximately 200,000GT per month. Our team was responsible for disseminating, reporting, and contributing to the overall Nucor SMG raw material strategy on a monthly basis.

Served as trader for the Birmingham brokerage team responsible for buying scrap directly for Nucor Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Decatur, securing approximately 250,000GT throughout North America to execute Nucor's monthly raw material strategy.

Served as trader on the Pittsburgh trading team responsible for buying raw materials for the Nucor SMG.
