My primary job responsibilities as UC Manager are.

• Performed quality control checks on SUE projects.
• Assess utility infrastructure needs, and recommend appropriate solutions to meet requirements for a variety of projects.
• Provided technical advice on matters related to utilities management, such as design, construction, installation, and operations.
• Meet with utilities to discuss known conflicts of existing utility facilities, and the proposed plan in the design phase. Coordinate on how to resolve the conflicts and review the utilities relocations plan. In the construction phase, I would review relocations from the utilities and would approve them after all conflicts have been resolved.
• I was helping to create a training and knowledge enforcement plan for the SUE technicians.
• Work closely with state DOT coordinators on road move projects, where utility relocations were needed.
• Reviewed utility relocation permit applications on projects.

• Sorted and assigned all work to the damage prevention technicians daily.
• Managed all the equipment, also ordered materials, and equipment.
• Primary damage investigator.
• Assisted with relocations for a variety of projects.
• Assisted with outage restorations during major storms, and managed emergency locate requests.
• Coordinate work with contractors on utility improvement projects.

• Perform daily reviews of 811 requests assigned to me from DEMCO, and either locate any facilities in the requested area, or ensure that the area is clear of all facilities.
• I closely worked with the DP crew leader at DEMCO on the training of the Brooks-Harbor DP techs, assigning the requests, and conducting damage investigations.
• Meet homeowners and/or contractors on-site to coordinate work.
