  • Manage a team of 4, 3 support staff and 1 L2 analyst, who are responsible for USPS and foreign post receivables (~$90MM annually) as well as RFS (Road Feeder Service) and miscellaneous cargo payables (~$40MM annually)
  • Oversee all aspects of accounting related to USPS and foreign post mail receivables.
  • Analyze high volumes of data from multiple sources to determine trends in scanning and performance failures that will result in lost revenues. Specifically, failure to scan domestic and international mail at origin and destination and failure to deliver mail by the required delivery time
  • Review all entries relating to cash application, reserve accruals, expense liability and receivable true up for USPS domestic and international mail
  • Ensure that CRA maintains proper reserve levels for code share liability, service failure expense, revenue adjustments, fines/penalties and bad debt for domestic, international and foreign mail
  • Review and approve code share payment amounts calculated by mail analyst
  • Negotiate settlement of manual claims with USPS
