  • Providing frontline security protection to air travelers, airports, and airplanes as a Dual Function Officer (DFO).
  • Authenticated boarding passes, identification, and passports to prevent fraudulent travel.Duties include performing pat down searches, operating AT-2 x-ray machine, screening baggage, and reviewing tickets and documents to detect fraudulent identification, identifying dangerous and prohibited objects on passengers and in baggage and preventing these objects from being transported onto aircraft, using diverse electronic detection and imaging equipment including Electronic Trace Detection Itemiser DX (calibrating and clearing alarms), closing zones, completing all paperwork, shutting down machines and securing areas, writing rotations of screening lanes. Certified as Pre-Check Screener.
  • Assigned as acting Lead in baggage. Certified On Screen Alarm Resolution Protocol (OSARP) on CT-80 and CTX-5500 baggage screening equipment.
  • As OSARP Master Assessor and OJT Monitor, assisting and training team members on objectives and goals, per SOP, to achieve teamwork and overall expertise.
