Growing up in Portland Oregon, I had access to many outdoor type playgrounds. With Mount Hood being only an hour and a half away, and the oregon coast being about that same time if not less, it was hard to to give excuses to not go outside. From a young age I spent many summers at the oregon coast with family and friends. Then in the winter, I have been learning to snowboard over the last year or so. This outdoor activities have helped me be more disciplined in the work environment, because I am aware I get to do these activities once I have finished what needs to be done.
