Served as a Foreign Small Arms Repairer for the Security Forces Assistance Foreign Weapons Course. Responsible for the Field and Sustainment level maintenance including annual and quartely gauging of small arms weapons which included the AK-47, RPK, PKM, DSA SA58 (FN FAL copy) , SVD, PTR-91 (HK G3 copy) and the Romanian M38/44 DShK heavy machine gun valued at over $1M. Responsible for the diagnosing, repairs, disposition, evacuation and movement of all equipment requiring higher level maintenance. Responsible for the storage, security, transportation and issuing of all equipment required for classroom and live fire training. Performed duties as a range Armorer ensuring the safe operation of weapons and all repairs while conducting live fire ranges. Instructed students on proper mounting procedures of the DShK to tripod system.

Responsible for field and sustainment level maintenance for all weapon systems utilized by the 407th BSB and the 2nd Brigade Combat Team 82n Airborne Division. Served as approving authority for turn-in of all weapon mounted optics in 2BCT. Led all 91F's during the brigade's reset upon redeployment to Forth Bragg from Iraq. Was directly responsible for the health, welfare, and professional development of 4 Soldiers.
