Additional Information

Major Daniel Ogunmodede is an outstanding and excellent officer since the beginning of his career as a Correctional Officer. Major Ogunmodede as a Duty Major had managed well over 100 officers consistently over past two years and supervised four buildings that housed inmates, detainees and offenders. Major Ogunmodede has earned the respect of officers, non uniform employees, and detainees. They understand what to expect when Major Ogunmodede is on duty. Major Ogunmodede has earned Employee of the year twice, several perfect attendance certificates and several pats on the back from his superiors.

Major Ogunmodede has also instructed Field Training, Entry Level, and Annual In-Service training as needed. During my tour as a Correctional General Instructor, I have received many citations as one of the best trainers. As I progressed into supervisory roles; I served as an institutional trainer, time keeper, Duty Captain and shift Commander. I am currently assigned to Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center where I oversees both men and women adult offenders, and occasionally Juvenile detainees. Currently, I am training to become Linux System Administrator. System Security Expert and Information Technology Infrastructure Library Expert.

Over the years and throughout my correctional experience, I have worked diligently to support and uphold the department's mission to protect the public, employees, and offenders, and detainees under my supervision. I strive to continuously educate myself and challenge my staff to do the same. I am currently attending school to become a Cyber Security professional. I have 13 years of valuable experience working with pre-trial, pre-release, and sentenced: male, female and juveniles offenders. I am ethically structured, and professionally poised. It is my goal to make the officers under my supervision more knowledgeable, skilled, and productive while providing offenders with effective programs and the appropriate resources needed to assist as they transition back into the community in order to be a better and productive members of the community as a whole. I currently attending University of Maryland University College with concentration in Computer Networks and Cyber-security.
