I have a diverse medical background working with Skilled Nursing facilities, IDD patients with behavioral diagnosis, Assisted living, and more. Working in these different places I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge. I simply strive to continually learn and grow in every aspect of my life.
Reviewing new admissions along with or long term care residents orders, and consults then scheduling as appropriate. Coordinating transportation for the patients, either through Trinity Ridge or family provided transportation. Prior to starting this position with Trinity Ridge I worked as a Lead CNA on one of our long term care units. Lead CNA duties consisted of creating the assignment sheets daily, ensuring vitals, menu, showers and all other ADLs were done within specified timing. Aiding every teammate when and where they were needing help, ensuring my unit ran as smoothly as possible.
Provided hands on care, including personal hygiene needs to patients in both long term care as well as patients there for rehab services. Answering patient call lights in an appropriate time, helping with the patients needs. We were responsible for ensuring vitals and other nursing needs were met.
Ensuring the lives and needs of those with IDD and complex behavioral disorders were met and upheld. following strict BSP and other state guidelines and regulations as required.
