• Coordinate and execute annual Agency and community events for teens in foster care and youth who have aged out of foster care in Cuyahoga County

• Provide safety, security, custodial care & surveillance of youth assigned to a juvenile residential facility; enforce & follow Department of Youth Services (DYS) policies and procedures, rules & regulations.
• Complete necessary documentation (e.g., youth behavioral & incident reports, daily logs, Interdisciplinary Team evaluations, progress reports, activity slips for medical services); oversee youth movement on facility grounds & observe behavior & social interaction of youth; intervene when conflicts occur & de-escalate utilizing appropriate verbal strategies (i.e., Management of Youth Resistance (MYR) skills).
• Maintain keen awareness of unusual behavior & crisis situations to provide emotional support
