Danielle Treiber

During my time in this position I have taught primarily ELA and Social Studies classes, to students in grades 9-12, in mixed ability classes. I have also stepped in to teach other classes based on students' graduation credit needs, including electives such as art, cooking, life skills, personal finance, and other math and science courses. While doing this I gained experience in:

• Developed lesson plans utilizing diverse teaching strategies to address varying abilities and learning styles.
• Advocated for students with learning difficulties by implementing tailored accommodations to support individual needs.
• Adapted instruction to cover multiple subjects for students' graduation requirements.
• Integrated art, music, and cooking into lessons to enhance relevance and boost student engagement.
• Utilizing technology, including Google Workspace and a Viewboard, to enhance interactive learning.

During my time in this position I taught primarily ELA and Social Studies in small class settings of 4-10 mixed ability students, in grades 4-8. While doing this I gained experience in:

• Analyzed assessment data to identify learning gaps, informing targeted lesson planning.
• Designed and executed interactive projects that enhanced student participation and engagement.
• Cultivated positive, inclusive classroom environment that supported diverse learning needs.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers to strengthen content integration and staying informed on behaviors and progress to best serve our students.

During my time in this position I taught exclusively Language Arts courses across 4 blocks in the day to 7th grade and later 6th grade students. These classes consisted of between 25-30 students. While doing this I gained skills in:

• Planned lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum, preparing students effectively for assessments.
• Collaborated with content, grade level, and school-wide teams to enhance student learning through streamlined instructional strategies.
• Managing behaviors in large classes with conflict resolution strategies.
