Summary

I am looking for a full time job in the veterinary field to help enhance my learning and work on my skills. I am currently taking my classes asynchronously online so hours for work will be flexible. I will be attending online classes at Jefferson State community College in their veterinary technician program. I will be graduating in December 2025 and hopefully taking my boards shortly after to become licensed. I’m a hard worker and it is easy for me to pick up a new routine very quickly. I am enthusiastic at my job and will always be presented with a smile on my face. I like to connect with the clients and form a relationship so that they know their animal is getting the best care possible.

I experience in animal care, medical support, and client communication. Skilled in assisting with procedures, administering medications, and performing lab tests. Strong focus on teamwork and adaptability ensures seamless clinic operations. Reliable and results-driven, with compassionate approach to patient care.

  • Leading appointments, finding out primary problems for sick patients, running lab work, preparing medications and vaccinations, going over any information clients may have, helping monitor patients that are hospitalized, taking radiographs, sending referrals to other clinics, handling patients with the proper care and protocols.
  • Surgery assistant – monitoring patients throughout the duration of surgery, taking numerous vitals including HR, temp, RR, and blood pressure. Monitoring their anesthesia plane and reflexes. Making sure they get the correct pre anesthetic medications and doses. Recovering patients and making them comfortable.
