SHIPPING & INVENTORY:

• Input shipping information into freight forwarder system to generate bills of lading for each package or container. Compare bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspect for damaged goods and coordinate distribution to correct departments.
• Track inventory levels, handling aspects of shipping and receiving and kept accurate records. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Communicate inventory levels through Slack with managers.
• Check customer orders, labeling and documentation prior to shipment to avoid delays, including cross-checking work orders to confirm correct quantities, destination and routing.
• Obtain required documentation to process shipments and support movement, including international processes.
• Pack and ship various sizes and uniqueness of packaging including large freight items safely and securely.

SUPERVISING:

• Supervise the warehouse team in stocking merchandise, pulling orders and setting up loads.
• Trained new staff preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
• Directly communicated with carrier representatives to follow specific procedures and make special delivery arrangements. Contacted transport companies and suppliers to expedite, trace, or return shipments.
• Cultivate positive relationships with FedEx, UPS and DHL personnel.

• Prepared products and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling.
• Utilized Microsoft Dynamics AX to locate and pull inventory. Pulled products from appropriate inventory locations in specified quantities as necessary to fill orders.
• Routed freight to provide the most economical transport of goods and to meet customer’s or other requirements.
• Prepared shipping documents and schedule labels via FED EX, UPS, and USPS.
• Routed EDI shipments in Vantage Point for Amazon, Kohl's, and Specialty Sports.
