Motivated second-year electrical engineering student actively pursuing internship/co-op opportunities to further develop and apply knowledge gained from university coursework. Eager to contribute to projects involving current and future electrical engineering concepts, expanding skill set in a practical setting.
NAND gate SR latch:
Designed and implemented an SR latch circuit to understand basic digital logic principles. This project provided a conceptual understanding of the states of both the set and reset lines when the device turns on, troubleshooting techniques, reading datasheets for each electrical component, and using circuit simulation software to analyze voltage and current through the electronic device.
Clear Set Toggle program (C programming language):
Designed and implemented a program that allowed two numerical inputs from the user and returned a numerical output based on the choice options displayed in the program. This project provided an understanding of defining macros, creating header files, establishing command-line arguments, and implementing the practical use of switch statements, if-else statements, and bitwise operators to manipulate user input.
Arduino Blink/Pulse Width Modulation workshop: Participated in a hands-on workshop focused on understanding Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signals and controlling their duty cycles.
Arduino 4 Serial Communications workshop: Participated in a hands-on workshop focused on interfacing integrated development environments (IDEs) with microcontroller peripherals to facilitate simple hardware design.
Surface Mount Soldering Workshop: Participated in a hands-on workshop focused on soldering and assembling electrical components on a printed circuit board (PCB).
