Dashia Imperiale Filmmaker, Writer, Director
A native of New York's Lower East Side, had her imagination captured early in life with a free spirited mother who dabbled in theater. Which later led Dashia to study acting with the likes of legendary acting masters, Gene Frankel, Richard Pinter and Wynn Handman. Her talents and enthusiasm were so great that opportunity knocked early as she soon starred in Stanley Taikeff's "Dolorosa Sanchez" a play recognized by Samuel French Inc and selected out of 500 entries that year for publication. Dashia's performance led Taikeff to say, "Dashia is living proof that stage characters can come alive and move audiences beyond words".
Her unique ability as an actress led her to a memorable scene in Franc. Reyes' Motion Picture The Ministers in 2008 opposite Hollywood veteran Harvey Keitel. After honing her skills as a screenwriter, she wrote 'Exit Now" a much acclaimed feature screenplay, she went on to direct and star in a condensed off Broadway theatrical version of the script.

Dashia's newest project is a short film "True America" is also a international award wining movie. A true labor of love. Over seeing every facet of production with strong project management and decision-making skills. Skilled at coordinating production plans and personnel resources to complete work under tight deadlines.
