During the first phase, I analyzed the production infrastructure and designed and built the non-production infrastructure to closely match.
Limitations had to be accommodated and some tweaks were made to suit the requirement.
My role involved triaging and evaluating the failure point; querying databases to ensure data was setup correctly; tracing transactions through all the hops as designed, engaging the subject matter experts to ensure that the issues are resolved.
This involves a fair amount of leadership by influence – without the titles and authority to go with it.
Work with vendors and partners to ensure that the data available for quality assurance testing is readily available and process is repeatable.

Worked on the quality management and product management of multiple point of sales (POS) projects.
Each project was worth over US$100,000 with potential savings of at least $50 Million a year to the enterprise.
My role as a DevOps analyst was to ensure smooth completion of Projects.
One of them included bringing the Canadian segment of the chain in compliance with EMV.
I was working with the project team in the selection, quality assurance, and the piloting of the new pin pads.
An ERP solution that was put in place generated a 5% increase in the flooring business year-over-year — even in a soft market for the flooring business at that time.
My role involved leading a team of C/C++ developers and managing a Windows server that housed the CAD type of diagrams.
We also triaged defects by analyzing code, fixing the defects and deploying to the field.
Recognized team leader of the team that supports an application that generates over 2-Billion US dollars annually for one of the largest resellers of paint.
The system up-time was 99.2% for one evaluation year.
My role involved leading a team of C# / Dot Net Framework developers and managing a Windows server that housed the CAD type of diagrams.
We also triaged defects by analyzing code, fixing the defects and deploying to the field.

The system up-time was 99.12% for one evaluation year.
