My name is David James Bryant, and I am a Political Science/Pre-Professional Legal Studies student at Appalachian State University. I will be graduating this upcoming Spring in 2024 with my bachelor's degree while only being at the University for three years. I have a minor in Criminal Justice, and I have learned many things and improved on many things while being here at the University. I have learned how to be an effective communicator, negotiator, and a leader. These three attributes are my greatest strengths. I started honing my skills all the way back in middle school and high school as I participated in "Project Unify", a program dedicated to helping children with learning disabilities or physical disabilities. I have interned with the Avery County District Attorney’s Office in Newland, North Carolina. My experiences being an intern, working with disabled children, and academic excellence makes me confident that I will be an asset to any organization I may join. These two experiences of mine are the most important to me, and the two that I thoroughly identify with.
