Summary

Ever since a young age I've always had a strong work ethic. From showing up on time and completing a job or task efficiently, I'm always up for the task. I grew up in a family full of carpenters and mechanics so naturally I started my first job in the family business doing home maintenance and repairs. I was doing anything from building decks and additions to plumbing and electrical repairs. I lived in a lower class neighborhood full of problems. By the time I was 19 I found myself in a world of trouble with the law. It took 5 years of being away from my family to finally learn the lesson crime does not pay. I did a lot of soul searching over those 5 years learning a lot about myself, gaining confidence, and working on my self worth. During that time I held three major jobs each for over a year. One was working as a commercial plumber for the entire facility. The second position was working at a sign plant printing all of the street signs for the state of north Carolina. The last job was running the outside maintenance crew mowing grass, gardening, doing repairs inside and out of the buildings, and also repairing equipment. Although it was a rough time in my life I made the best out of it, worked hard to stay out of trouble, and most importantly worked on my own personal growth. I look back and I'm grateful for the life I've had and where I am at now. I've learned from my mistakes and I've become a better person. I'm proud of the person I've become. It's been five years now back into society, working hard to give back and also provide for my family. I've held two different jobs one being a framer that I gave up due to being injured on the job and the other as a mechanic that I gave up to pursue my business detailing cars which I started in North Carolina where I grew up. After moving to Virginia with my wife due to her recent health problems I've had trouble finding shop space and clientele. It's time to find a career path for myself. If given the chance I will become a valued asset to the team who is both dependable and trustworthy. I will always be doing my best to help the company grow and maintain a safe work environment. I just am looking for an opportunity to show what I am capable of and would appreciate a chance to to sit down one to one.
