- .First thing is to comply and adhere to all company safety and compliance requirements as outlined in safety and health protocol and adhere to company mission statements.
- Operated rotary car dumper to unload unit coal trains,communicating with train crew to take control of train with our car positioner and dump coal cars to fill active coal storage ditches with stacker/reclaimer and feed plant silos as necessary to make electricity. Operated from HMI in dumper control room or locally at equipment local controls when necessary. Usually taking 4 to 5 hours to unload around 12,000 tons from train.
- Maintain active and inactive coal storage and maintain plant roads and grounds using CAT D-11R, CAT D-8N,CAT 657-G,E and B series skrapers, CAT 14g and CAT-150 moter graders,mid to large sized CAT excavators including long stick 336 and about most other brands.
- CAT and Volvo haul trucks and water wagons
- Trained new staff on equipment use and operational procedures.
- Diagnosed and maintained entire coal delivery system including all conveying and feeder systems and transfer equipment and coal yard equipment.
