AT&T Connection Award : (September 2022 and September 2023): This award demonstrates a commitment to customer success and sales excellence measured by revenue outcomes. I was blessed to lead a team of folks that resulted in the two largest deals for both 2022 and 2023.
Lori Bentacourt Indomniable Spirit Award: (February 2019): This award is near and dear to my heart as I've used my gift of time and music to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas since 2010. In the years prior to 2010, I had experienced a time of significant personal loss and I was not in the best place of life. I chose to step outside of my circumstances of life in December 2010 and it led me to playing Christmas music on my saxophone in public. And to date, I've raised a total of $116,200 over the past (12) Decembers and will continue to build upon it until I can no longer physically do it. See the link below for a video from 2019. I stepped out of my apartment in Las Colinas, TX on December 22, 1999 because I was curious. I had historically been tasked with running via team sports and I was then about 3 years removed from that structure. I stepped out of my apartment that day out of my personal curiosity because I recognized the key to growth is self discipline. And to endure. To endure means to apply yourself to gain experience that includes pain and suffering that results in mental, emotional and physical growth. Since December 22, 1999, I've complete (1) 100-Mile Ultra Marathon, (11) 50K's, (41) Marathons and hundreds of Half Marathons. What this 24-year journey has taught me is that potential is only realized through intentionality and action. I certainly don't want to wake up when I'm 80 years old and then ask myself, "What would my life had looked like had I of done more?" So I find and apply purpose for today and I continue to build upon my stretch goal is be an elite Ultra Endurance Athlete in the future.
