Summary

I am is a queer Latino vocalist based in DFW, originally from Brownsville, Texas which is a predominantly Latinx community. The culture I've learned in South Texas is a constant through my musical repertoire and expression. I am an impassioned educator and an advocate for DEI in the classical music cannon through the inclusion of my own self-expression of any artistic project, company, or collaboration I am a part of.

The Dallas Opera

  • I am a contracted artist for The Dallas Opera which aims to make opera accessible to all communities across DFW
  • This year contract performs an operatic version of "The Billy Goats Gruff" for elementary schools and Opera Truck Performances in local performance venues such as churches, concert halls, and parks.

  • We meet several times throughout the year programming repertoire for a cause such as providing clean water, aiding in adoption and foster care systems, organizing food pantries for those with hunger, and awareness of housing for low-income and marginalized populations in DFW
  • We use music to speak for important societal causes and are directed by Sean Hale at FUMC Arlington.
