• Plan, develop, direct and supervise the activities of all fire department and maintenance department employees.
• Respond to fire, rescue and emergency medical calls, citizen assists and other calls for service as needed. Utilizing training, teamwork, reasoning and established policies, direct responding emergency crews and maintain teamwork through communication.
• Prepares a variety of written reports regarding departmental activities for the Township. Regularly briefs Township elected officials and department heads on the status of the fire department operations..
• Prepare, certify and submit payroll for eight full-time and sixty part-time employees.
• Frequent business travel to complete training, certification or attend conferences.

• Process and submit personnel actions for twenty-five fire department personnel.
• Frequent business travel for training, mobilization and contingencies.

• Provide clerical and technical customer service in all matters regarding fire department operations, fire safety inspections, fire safety education.
