DAVID RIVERS

After several years in film and television, my professional background includes: director, producer, and writer of many stage plays and short films. My specialties are writing and directing. I'm a former production manager at CW13 WGSA in Savannah, GA. While employed there, I shot, edited, and produced commercials for local businesses. I also created, wrote and directed CW13's first original drama, "Executives". This show aired locally in 2014. "Executives" also aired in Atlanta, GA on People TV, a public access station. In additions to my vocational career, I've worked in ministry throughout my life. I've worked as a musical director and lead pastor within thriving churchs.

• Earned a Performing Art Scholarship into Savannah College Of Art and Design in Acting.
• Earned additional scholarship from essay writing.
• Wrote, directed, color graded, edited the feature film entitled, "The Answer." The Answer was brought and distributed by Byron Allen's FreeStyle Digital Media. The Answer can be seen on; DirectTv, Itunes, Amazon Prime, and many other OTT platforms.
• Tv Show optioned out by, Manns and Mackie Studio. The creators of, "A Question of Faith" which grossed $2,587,072 at the box office.
• Trained as a private pilot at FlyCorp
• Became a quarterfinal's in the National Screencraft (screenwriting) competition "Family Featured" genre.
• Only Believe (third featured screenplay) is ranked 16 on the Coverfly's faith based RedList.
