
Self-motivated sales and customer service representative with over a decade of direct sales experience and professional relationship building. As result of Cox combining two Cox roles, I transitioned into the new direct sales role called Territory Sales Representative. I maintained all the duties of my direct sales role and adding multi dwelling unit sales. My added responsibilities included forming and maintaining successful relationships with apartment property managers in order to generate new revenue for Cox. I managed a portfolio of several properties and worked with their staff to ensure their tenants subscribed to Cox services. By working with property managers and assistance from Cox Account Managers, I was able to provide competitive offers to customers and generate business to the direct sales channel.
During my role as a Territory Sales Representative, I took on a temporary assignment of a National Direct Sales Representative. During this time, my focus was to travel to different Cox Markets with the goal of upgrading homes from Coaxial to fiber to eligible homes.
This is a Door-to-door position at Cox I returned to after business to business sales at Cox. During this time, I had the same responsibilities of my former direct sales position. During this time however, we transitioned temporarily into an at-home based inbound sales approach during the beginning of Covid pandemic.
During my year as a Cox Business Security Consultant, my duties changed from a residential role to a business-to-business sales role. I was part of the first four sales representatives to launch Cox Business security and surveillance in the San Diego Market. We were tasked to successfully launch this new product and make it successful. Through the creation of prospect lists, employee leads and door knocking, I generated sales to businesses for their security and surveillance systems. Consistently built relationships with account managers to bring new revenue to existing Cox Business customers and bring in new customers as well.
This is a door-to-door sales position involving sales to single family homes. Our daily routine involved bringing customers back to Cox, setting up new customers, or upgrading current customers with new services like internet, telephone, cable, and/or home security. Meeting customers face to face daily, working on assigned territory and constantly adjusting to changes successfully was part of this position.
This position involved third party sales including internet, cable, and phone services. The majority of my sales were obtained through greeting and offering services to both new and existing Cox customers. Daily tasks included generating sales, answering customer questions, building rapport, following up with leads, and meeting daily and monthly quotas.
