Now lets be more specific to the wrestling coach position I am applying for. I have 11 years of wrestling experience. I started at the age of 4 and wrestled until the age of 15 when I decided to switch my focus from sports to music and the arts. In 2020 I was reintroduced to wrestling when my son Hudsyn decided he wanted to give it a try. It wasn't long after he joined the team that I decided to step in as a montrose youth wrestling assistant coach. Over the past few years, I have built strong relationships with these young wrestlers and in the next few years, many of them will soon be moving up to junior high. It would be my honor to step in as the junior high coach and continue my effort to help guide these young boys and girls through their journey to becoming great wrestlers as well as incredible young men and women. I have recently been assisting coach Tim with the open mat practices on Tuesdays and Fridays and it has given me an opportunity to get to know him as well as some of the high school wrestlers. If given the opportunity to coach junior high, I believe coach Tim and I can build something truly special within the Montrose wrestling club.
