My role is to dispatch rides for railroad crew members getting to and from their trains. I dispatch for CSX an NS railroad dispatching in the Eastern location. Each day the railroad presents trips to the diapers and it is our job to find a drive with enough time to fulfill the job that is needing filled at the time. Some jobs may need a 12 hour assist building trains or may need to go to different locations. So it is our job to dispatch a driver that will be able to do all that is required of them.
Started as a part time teller and was going to leave due to need of benefits. When I gave my notice, I was told to give them a little time. When I got back to them., the president of the bank told them to make me a full time employee with benefits. Within about a year I was promoted to vault teller also and within another year Head Teller. It was my job to help other tellers if need of assistance and to get loans out of vault when needed. I had an approval amount so if the tellers could not approve their transactions, I had to be the one to approve. I also had to do beginning of the day and end of the day vault balancing. I left this job to move back to Georgia to be close to my 2 grown sons.
Transferred back home to Walmart working in their accounting office till they did changes in the office and did away with my position, so I ended up leaving due to lack of work in the store.
