As a Beverage Runner, I am responsible for anticipating and accommodating all guest needs and communicating with servers about any allergy or dietary restrictions. I have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menus, as well as general information about our venues and retail merchandise (where applicable). I ensure the proper delivery and presentation of all food, beverage, and amenity items, while complying with Department of Health standards and all company and departmental policies and procedures. I am also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of tables and surrounding areas, and reporting any low inventory or equipment issues to management. In addition, I am trained in proper use of beverage soda systems, and assist servers in providing high quality and speedy service. I participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings, and am willing to learn and share knowledge with my team. I have previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, dayclub, or lounge, and am at least 21 years of age. In this role, I must be able to communicate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and handle physical demands such as standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 100 lbs. I am also able to work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors, and may be required to work extended hours, evening and weekend shifts, and holidays.
