  • International Service and Outreach, Global Medical Brigades, Tegucigalpa, Honduras, 2017-2018: Facilitated mobilization of an annual free medical clinic in rural Honduras and traveled internationally with a team of 25 students and various healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, anesthesiologists, dentists, primary care physicians, optometrists, and general surgeons.
  • Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP), Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL, 2017-2018: Participated in daily wellness activities aimed at preventing delirium in hospitalized elderly patients. Responsibilities included engaging patient in frequent conversation, particularly during mealtime and social entertainment (playing cards, board games). Patients were encouraged to walk outdoors if ambulatory. Friends and family members were often invited to join in on activities.
