  • Recruited new team members and interviewed them. Also had them shadow the department they would be working in to see if they would be a good fit.
  • Reduced waste and pursued revenue development strategies to keep department aligned with sales and profit targets.
  • Had a V.I.P. program where team members voted monthly for the person who went above and beyond. They would receive a necklace with a single pearl that I purchased.
  • Gave "shout outs" in the morning huddle to start on a positive note. Team members would bring the "shout outs" to me and I would announce them. They would then get to pick a "prize" that I provided.
  • Celebrated birthdays, work anniversaries, RDA week, RDH week, admin appreciation day and Doctor appreciation day. Would also buy them lunch or make them lunch to show my appreciation.
  • Had a very positive environment, while still having to have serious discussions and following through with disciplinary actions.
  • Was a servant leader. My team knew I would walk through fire for them, so they walked through it for me.
  • Had the team work reports in downtime to maximize production while also taking care of our patients.
