Conducting physical inventory counts:- Schedule regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy.- Implement a systematic approach, such as using barcode scanners or inventory management software.

Creating and receiving shipping and purchase orders:

- Use a reliable system to create and track orders, such as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

- Communicate effectively with suppliers and carriers to ensure smooth transactions.- Verify the accuracy of received orders and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintaining a clean warehouse:- Establish and enforce cleanliness standards and safety protocols.

- Organize regular cleaning schedules and inspections.

- Provide necessary equipment and resources to maintain a tidy and safe workspace.

Sweep and remove trash and debris from sidewalk to the curbside, ~ Development and maintenance of flower and tree boxes in target areas, to include removing litter from tree spaces and street center islands. ~ Responsible for removal of posters, signs, and placards from trees and lamp posts. ~ Assist tourists and residents with information regarding local area.

Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. ~ Sort cargo before loading and unloading. ~ Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. ~ Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. ~ Stack cargo in locations such as transit sheds or in holds of ships as directed, using pallets or cargo boards.
