Job overview
- I started out in the factory making custom parts before moving to Customer Service
- In manufacturing, I was offered the opportunity to make routings, or work instructions, for every custom part
- This takes a lot of patience and being highly detailed
- I was also the back up manufacturing scheduler
- This allowed me to move and plan orders to be manufactured so they could ship on time to meet customer's deadlines
- I moved through all the levels in Manufacturing and in Customer Service
- I have been a Level 3 Advanced Customer Service Representative for 11 years
- I am the back up Credit Specialist as well
- I work daily helping my customers by entering quotes, orders, taking phone calls, advising customers, and scheduling orders
- I also work with our shipping and purchasing departments to coordinate having components to make parts to meet our customers dock dates
- I am on the hiring team band on our Supplier Evaluation team
- I have also been on our Safety, Time, and Interview teams
- I have trained new employees as well
- I worked at home during Covid and I am currently working remote for Interpower Corporation while they find my replacement and while I find a new job
