I come in and make sure all the date stamps and mail log are all on correct date for the day. I go to the post office where I check the mail box for Buncombe County HHS and a box for the Health Department. I check the county state courier box and the county drop box. I bring all mail back into the office and sort, count, date stamp and distribute to proper areas. I deliver the mail throughout the county building. I also keep track of Medicaid voicemail emails and forward to the next case worker on rotation. I print out and mail print requests from the IMC's (case workers).
I did several jobs over my 19 years of work there. I was once a food stamp worker for expedite FNS applications. I did years of clerical work for for PLA and LTC Medicaid case workers. I delivered mail. At one time I used to go to the court house and pull deeds for property. My last job there I assisted employees with all password resets, setting up their computer access to different programs, sent out monthly day sheet reminders, terminated access once an employee left their job and much more.
