Officer of the Year

Being selected as Officer of the Year was an honor and a privilege. The day that I was notified by Chief Johnson that I was chosen was a time that I will remember and cherish forever.  The article in our local newspaper listed attributes to describe me as quiet and capable,  Those characteristics have followed we throughout my tenures with both the Department of Corrections (ranked second in  our class) and also as a Teaching Assistant with Jackson Public Schools for 30+ years.
