- Worked in the Global Genotyping Lab in many different areas.
- Performed PCR utilizing a plate-based system for two years, followed by active involvement in transitioning towards the Array Tape method. Achieved successful reduction of PCR working volume from 800nl to 5nl through diligent implementation, leading to substantial savings on reagents and notable enhancements in daily throughput.
- Over the next 5 years, operated in the Array Tape Lab where I coordinated and prioritized daily job assignments for 6 machines.
- Started working in the High Density Lab by 2015 and was responsible for performing DNA extraction using the Ctab method. Executed a project to transition from this method to bead-based extraction, resulting in a significant reduction from 2 days to only 3 hours of extraction time and eliminating the use of hazardous chemicals.
- Transitioned to the DNA Extraction group in 2018, enabling support for crude extractions during automation.
