Work History

Programming (Java)

Kentlake High School
09.2021 - 06.2022
  • The teacher would first assign a program to create with Java.
  • The building point would start from the "skeleton" of the code.
  • Once the "skeleton" of the code is completed, then the actual writing of the code would start. It's important to go line by line to ensure that the code is written correctly.
  • When the code is completed, run the code to check if there are any errors. The program will notify you if there are any.
  • Finally, when the errors are found, change the code by either fixing the spelling mistake, or by changing what code it is. Then run the code again to ensure that all errors are eradicated.

Robotics

Northwood Middle School
09.2020 - 02.2021
  • The class would be divided into groups of 3-4 students. Once the groups are formed, the teacher would hand out instructions and the materials for the robot.
  • Designs were pre-assigned for the groups. At this point each person in the group would take on a different role. The role specific to one would be the builder.
  • After the robot was put together, the group would use Scratch to look through coding presets and decide what order they need to be in.
  • The last steps would be similar to what the description for the programming class.
