As the lead on launching two morning news shows for Nexstar Media, I demonstrated strong project management, leadership, and strategic planning skills. This involved coordinating across multiple departments, including production, journalism, technical teams, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution from concept to broadcast.

I organized a rural community healthcare fair in my hometown in Camden, Arkansas while I was a news anchor/reporter in Little Rock, Arkansas to serve the underserved community, aiming to improve access to essential health services and information. This project involved comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution, utilizing my project management skills to ensure a smooth and impactful event. Key tasks included coordinating with healthcare providers, managing resources and schedules, promoting community engagement, and overseeing logistics, all while staying within budget and timeline constraints.  I’m so grateful for the team support and efforts - together we delivered a successful healthcare fair that provided valuable health resources, enhanced community health awareness, and fostered long-term healthcare partnerships in the area.
