Military Officer Spouse 2003 to March 2020
Thank you for the opportunity to submit my resume. I am an energetic individual who is never afraid of new things or challenges. I have excellent communication and organizational skills, along with flexibility, and an outgoing attitude. My attention to detail combined with my love of learning equals an employee that will not disappoint. After reviewing my resume you will notice that I have not been a paid employee for 15 years. I am currently a divorced mother of 4 wonderful boys. My life has taken a turn, but I am looking forward to a new journey and a new opportunity. My volunteer experience has created numerous skills sets that I find to be very valuable in any career field. During my military spouse volunteer experience I became efficient in party planning, homecoming / departures, communication through all channels and the importance of privacy, networking and of course logistics and research skills that come from the constant moves. I have spent many years volunteering at many different schools my children have attended. I have assisted teachers with planning, copying and administrative items. I have supported our local United Way as a volunteer, as well as the Homeowners Association in two different states. As I hope you can see, during the last 15 years I have accepted all the challenges that were put in front of me and I know I will do it again with this new challenge. The new direction of my life has me looking forward to starting a career with a company who has strong community involvement, and values my background and can utilize vast array of experiences.
