  • Receive and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff. Responsible for evaluating offenders newly released or currently on probation looking for employment. Responsible for interviewing and placing offenders with an employer that meets their needs.
  • A few of the main duties of an employment specialist are testing the skills of the job candidates, conducting mock interviews, helping candidates with their resumes, and monitoring job retention. They also must work with employers to match their job openings.
