I'm an ambitious 20-year-old pre-law student seeking to obtain useful experience in a professional setting. I have great social and communication skills.
National Honor Society, Deans List, Duke Pre Law Fellowship
My experience as a Duke Pre-Law Fellow was incredible and eye-opening. For an entire month, we were in a classroom learning about many different types of law, including contract law, criminal law, and children’s law. It wasn’t just informational was also really engaging and entertaining, with hands on activities like mock trials that helped bring the lessons to life. We had the unique opportunity to meet and learn directly from attorneys, prosecutors, and legal professionals, all without having to pay any fees. As an undergraduate pre-law student, this program provided me with insights into the legal field and helped my passion for pursuing a career in law.
I was honored to be invited to join the Omega Nu Lambda Honor Society at North Carolina Central University, a program founded to recognize academic excellence among students, including those in online programs. I was invited to join in February, based on maintaining a GPA of 3.7 or higher. The society offers many scholarship opportunities, which make it an important part of my academic journey.
