The mission of Central Kitsap Backpack 4 Kids is tp alleviate hunger for students and their families in the Central Kitsap School District. We solicit, collect and prepare backpacks that are distributed on Fridays. Writing grants enables Central Kitsap Backpack 4 Kids to buy food. With the rising cost of food which has doubled or triples, we can shop to maximize the amount and or cost to provide these meals.
Grants requested: Fred Meyer/Kroger Foods, Windermere Foundation, Suquamish Tribe, Costco, Nordstrom, Silverdale Rotary-Duck Bucks to name a few.
