My role in this program is to:

• Provide 1:1 ABA(Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy services.
• Social skills development, data collection, management of maladaptive behaviors.

What I gained:

• Training and Introduction of ABA therapy.
• Feedback and support from Case Supervisor and Board Certified Behavioral Analysts(BCBA).

• Developed materials to increase awareness and understanding of STI's.
• Participated in community activities to promote health education.
• Promoted available resources and connected individuals with services.
• Gave public talks on importance of health education and specific disease prevention and treatment strategies.

What I Gained:

• Efficient public speaking strategies.
• Understanding and empathy for people of stigmatized communities.

• Trained and coached 2 junior employees on procedures for completing various repairs and maintenance on cars and trucks.
• Investigated several customer complaints to identify the cause of malfunctions.
• Maintained, repaired, and cleaned special equipment.
• Assessed work orders and determined appropriate methods of repairs.

What I Gained:

• Problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills and how to educate others in various ways (hands-on and vocally).
• Ability to communicate formally/professionally.
• Advocacy.
