Line Pilot at AE-112, Carrollton, GA fulfilled all duties as a Line Pilot serving the west Georgia, eastern Alabama areas. As a Line Pilot I spent my time with my crews motivating and establishing a good working rapport and ensuring that all safety, FAA and company requirements were met. Through coordination with my Base Pilot Supervisor and Program Director I would always monitor the weather, base dynamics and personnel to provide the best access to medical assistance in our coverage area. One of my collateral duties was acting as the purchasing agent responsible for keeping the base fully supplied.
Managed the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) program in country based in Kabul, Afghanistan. Managed two King Air 350er aircraft supporting the DEA. The program consisted of four (4) pilots, three (3) mechanic's and two (2) additional support personnel. In support of the U.S. Embassy we provided intelligence to the 30 plus DEA agents that were in country to facilitate the gathering of information that would enhance the trafficking of opiates from Afghanistan into the US. Coordination was maintained through FAA air traffic controllers and multiple military and US government agencies operating in country. I was also assigned coordination in preparation for the arrival of an ATR-42/500 which was being made ready to arrive in Afghanistan in 2014. I was the acting chief pilot for DEA's operation of the ATR program which consisted of adding additional pilots, mechanics and support personnel. The program was discontinued in November 2014 due to the scheduled closing of operations in Afghanistan.
Assigned to Entebbe, Uganda to support the United States Department of Defense (AFRICOM) as an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Senior Pilot. Duties included the planning, evaluating, training and execution of ISR operations in Africa, specifically South Sudan, Congo, Central African Republic (CAR) and Uganda. Operations were conducted utilizing the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft operating in and out of remote jungle strips. I facilitated all refueling, cargo transfers, flight planning and personnel assigned to each flight. Managed all Ugandan military personnel operating in communications, fueling, logistics in and out of all landing environments.
