  • I worked this position for6 months until I bid on, tested for and accepted a position as Power Plant Operator at Kern River #1 Powerhouse, Bakersfield Calif, during which time I completed the Hydro-operator Apprenticeship courses
  • I transferred to Bishop Plant #4 as a Power Plant Operator and was responsible for maintaining megawatt and voltage schedules for5 powerhouses, water releases from reservoirs and diversions, clearing out, issuing and releasing clearances to maintain all electrical and mechanical devices
  • This power house and facilities was automated to Bishop Control Station
  • I was awarded the position of Control Station Dispatcher/Operator was trained for4 months on dispatching and substation responsibilities for Dispatching220 KV,115 KV &12 KV systems in the Inyo-Kern, Mono & Owens Valley
