With over 29 years of experience as a member of the FedEx Team my experience is broad and in almost every facet of D.G.O. This experience involves the ability to communicate well and lead others towards the goal of providing the best and strongest customer service. with everyone. In short, I help lead and coach my fellow employees to accomplish our goal of safely and completely serving our customers.
Team lead in charge of our station's FO operations. This involves staffing and load balancing to ensure safety and service. In addition, I help plan and lead our morning sort. This involves covering open routes and load leveling stops between routes; ensuring there are enough coworkers to pull and run all the routes necessary to ensure efficiency and primarily customer service.
Also, I ensure that every team member has the proper equipment and tools to work safely and maintain the highest level of service to our customers. Once the sort is down, I run P-S-T's to follow through that all the freight is on road, thereby helping our team to work towards our goal of 100% service.
I am responsible for leading and staffing our response sort. By setting everything in place to start the sort on time, including proper staffing, I ensure safety and service for our second station sort.
As a leader and trainer, I work with our new couriers to learn how to best utilize our LEO's. This also involves training them in proper courier methods and giving them their initial experience on road to help them be successful and safe.
I am also a certified defensive driving instructor.
As a team member, I traveled to Indianapolis, Omaha, Champaign and Ceder Rapids: to benchmark and assist in other FedEx operations.
As a loop leader, I lead a group of five couriers and load leveled the amount freight and stops to ensure service and safety. In addition, I would help other loops with the goal of a 100% service level.

My initial entry into the FedEx team involved being a part-time courier on P.M shift. I immediately start assisting our P.M. operations as a swing driver. In addition, I unloaded trucks; loaded containers; corrected problem packages and went where I was needed to help the operation be successful.

In addition, I am a certified defensive driving instructor and a leader on our station's safety team
