
With a genuine desire to be the best Zaxby’s in our state, I go out of my way to make sure the customer has a positive and memorable experience at our store, and they often go out of their way to let us know. Ever since I moved from cook to cashier at our store, we have had a significant increase in positive reviews on our survey site, SMG. I like to start conversations with customers and give out compliments, always greeting customers within 5 seconds of them entering the store to make them feel at home, and I often bring food to their tables as opposed to calling their names. I enjoy talking to customers and taking their orders because when my attitude brightens a customer’s mood, it brightens mine too. I make an effort to stand out and lead by example for my coworkers, while reassuring and motivating them during times of stress.
Cashier & Cook
• Taking orders accurately, quickly counting cash, bagging and double-checking orders, suggestive serving when new items are on the menu, soliciting reviews to happy customers
• Training employees in new areas
• Experienced in all front of house positions—Drive-Thru, Headset, Dining Room, cleaning up and restocking all of these areas
• Preparing food on plates and in boxes accurately and in a timely manner, making sure the food served is looking delicious
• Experienced in all back of house positions—working the flat top, making chicken fingers, preparing orders on the table, making every item on the menu, and cleaning and restocking the back of the house
Customer Service
• Saucepitality—our customer service team that specializes in making sure food looks perfect before it reaches the customer, going above and beyond for guests to maximize their experience, and resolving issues and complaints that end in the customer’s satisfaction
Always smiling and enthusiastic when speaking to customers, even on days I don’t feel like it
Taking on more than one job, whether in the front or back, when an employee needs help or is unavailable
