Pre-medical student studying Biology with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics, but honestly, what gets me up every morning is knowing I can make someone's worst day a little better. Working as a Patient Care Technician has taught me that medicine isn't just about diagnoses it's about the scared parent in the waiting room, the elderly patient who just needs someone to listen, and the teenager embarrassed about their skin condition. I've learned to shift my approach from room to room because every person deserves care that fits who they are. Whether I'm advocating for students through Student Government, mentoring peers in the Honors Program, organizing community outreach with the Pre-Health Professionals Club, or diving deep into dermatology research (three times now because I can't get enough), everything I do comes back to one thing: helping people feel seen, heard, and cared for. And I want to expose myself more to the clinical setting.
