I started in the United Healthcare department with this company. I would assist members in explaining in detail their EOB, set up doctors appointments, set up rides for them to be able to go to their doctors appointments. I would assist members in making payments on their bills, file prior authorizations, and file grievances on their behalf. It was insurances for members that had a disability or were over the age of 65 with medicaid and medicare. From there I was transferred to the OPTUM RX department where I would assist patients with filling their medication and setting up home delivery orders process payments for medications and explain the process of controlled medication and insurance that covers medication. And I am currently now in the NJ transit department. In this department I assist customers with scheduling rides at a lower rate to be able to get to where they need to on time wether it is a transfer trip or one way trip.
